The dev linked to three blog posts (in one of which he solves the "what is an RPG?" question) that go over the changes. ![]() The game is now called " A Story of Love and Forgetting" and promises to be "a top-down role-playing game with life simulation and visual novel elements, heavily influenced by the Persona series." Looks like Persona has replaced Hotline Miami as the primary inspiration entirely. As of the time of this post the moddb page ( ) still represents what this project once was and goes over promised changes: improved gunplay, a revamped score system, proper weapon store/equipment selection, and a plot that builds on the nihilistic themes that the HM games touched on. ![]() So this was once an unofficial sequel to HM2. Necroing the thread to draw attention to some interesting/questionable/lolworthy developments as well as to request the Anime tag for this thread. ![]()
